Yoga and Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM)

Below you will find links to short articles written investigating the many parallels between yoga, Ayurveda, and AOM. These are written in response to and conjunction with advanced "Cakra, Tantra and Esoteric Anatomy" training, under Hansa Knox, E-RYT500, LMT, at PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala. Each piece begins with a brief review of the nature, actions, and indications of Ayurvedic marma points. Discussion of parallel Chinese medical concepts and corresponding acupuncture points follows.

Please note, these are all very preliminary and will undergo much revision over time. Also, please forgive the lack of consistent Chinese pinyin tones, source Chinese characters, and diacritical markings for Sanskrit terms, in the writings appearing on this website. All of these are given in the downloadable PDF and Word documents.
