Community Acupuncture
Community Acupuncture is a traditional approach to providing acupuncture that is
especially appropriate and
useful in modern times. At the Capitol Hill Acupuncture Clinic (CHAC), acupuncture treatments are provided in a
small group setting (up to four patients) at a 'per treatment'
rate substantially lower than the standard one-hour fees most acupuncturists charge. This allows
an individual to receive multiple treatments per week.
At CHAC, we employ classical theories of acupuncture point selection in our treatments, allowing us both
individualization and efficacy. Additionally, the group setting allows patients to benefit from
the collective healing energy generated in group sessions.
The current CHAC schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays - 12-3pm,
Thursdays - 4-9pm, and
Saturdays - 10-12 noon.
Treatments are by appointment only, run thirty minutes, and cost
$20, plus a one-time paperwork fee of $10 (cash only, please).
Please contact John Aguilar Jr, L.Ac. to
schedule an appointment, or call 720-284-1374.
