Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the most widely known modality of Chinese medicine. (There is also the term 'Oriental Medicine', which acknowledges the non-Chinese systems that are very closely related, eg. systems from Japan, Korea, etc. I use the term 'Chinese Medicine' and 'Oriental Medicine' interchangeably, and they are often referred to as a single system, eg. 'Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine' - AOM). Below, you will find an extensive discussion of the different aspects of acupuncture (as well as Oriental medicine.)
